When you launch CustomBooks™ for the first time our user friendly "Setup Wizard" will help walk you through setting up the essential settings and needed information for a successful start.
Setup Wizard will guide you to set up your account correctly. First with questions about your company/entity, then through the initial settings to get started, and lastly it will have you setup your Chart of Accounts (CoA). CustomBooks™ has built sophisticated and thorough default COA's for you to choose from. The default CoA's are based on your answers about your company and can be customized. You can also choose to import your CoA or copy from an existing CustomBooks™ account.
CustomBooks™ offers a variety of settings and tools to help you streamline and optimize your account setup. By taking advantage of these advanced settings and tools after you process Setup Wizard, you can rest assured that you created your account properly without avoidable time consuming errors to deal with in the future.
If you're transitioning to CustomBooks™ from another accounting software or spreadsheet program, you can import your existing data using the Data Import Tool. This powerful tool allows you to import data from .xlsx, .txt, .csv, or .iif files.
By linking your bank to CustomBooks™ and configuring bank feeds, you can securely import your daily transactions into the Cloud Banking platform. This streamlined process eliminates the need for manual data entry and reduces the risk of errors.
In Security Settings add your employees, accounting professional, bookkeeper, or any other users that need to log into CustomBooks™. We provide unlimited users with advanced user profiles.
