The Challenge

AdvancedAg Products, a family-owned innovator in all-natural livestock nutrition, developed its flagship By-O-Reg+ line of feed supplements to offer farmers an alternative to synthetic additives with research-backed efficacy and targeted release technology. As the company grew rapidly, they needed to be able to offer their customers more payment options and the option to charge a credit card processing fee if their customer chooses to pay by credit card.

Our Solution

CustomBooks™ provided an option on the Sales Invoice to pay by check, ACH, or bycredit/debit card. The selected payment option will be recorded on the CashReceipt. If the credit card option is chosen, Advanced Ag will have the option to add a processing fee.

Implementation highlights

Customers will be able to choose a check, ACH, or credit/debit card when clicking Make Payment from an invoice email.
The selected payment method will be recorded on the cash receipt.
Credit/debit card payments will automatically include a processing fee
The invoice will display two totals:
○ One total for cash/check/ACH
○ One total for credit card, reflecting the additional processing fee
